Reuters and AP report FIFA COO’s departure; reason not established

Reuters and the Associated Press reported that Kevin Lamour’s working relationship with FIFA as chief operating officer had ended. Reuters quoted FIFA as saying the relationship ended on 17 August 2026.

Reuters and AP separately described Lamour’s earlier public criticism of the FIFA Forward Enterprise proposal. This record does not infer that the criticism caused the end of his working relationship.
